DIMAPUR, AUG 8 (NPN): The Dimapur District Cricket Association (DDCA) has expressed appreciation to the Dimapur Ao Youth Organisation (DAYO) Town Unit for undertaking a major social work drive at the DDSC ground in Dimapur.
The DDCA said the initiative had significantly improved the condition of the ground, which serves as the home of the DDCA Coaching Centre where young boys and girls undergo regular cricket training.
Appreciating the efforts of the DAYO Town Unit youth, the DDCA said their energy, discipline and commitment had transformed the venue and provided young cricketers with an improved facility to train and pursue their sporting aspirations.
The association said the initiative had also boosted the morale of the young athletes and demonstrated the importance of community participation in developing local sports infrastructure.
