DDCC door to door campaign

Jan Sampark Abhiyan, a door to door campaign, was organized by Dimapur District Congress Committee (DDCC) at Dimapur –II, Notun Bosti on February 26.

According to DCC media secretary, Kutoho, NPCC secretary, Temjen Yanger at the campaign said that Modi government had launched various schemes for the poor but most of them were not reaching the beneficiaries. He claimed that public were still benefitting from the schemes which were previously launched by Congress.
 Short speech was delivered by Kikhevi Yeptho working president, DCC, wherein he pointed out the need to appoint booth level agents under every constituency before Lok Sabha elections for strengthening the party. He also encouraged the young generation to trust and vote for the right political party. He also talked about corruption in delivering scholarship to students.
Media secretary, Kutoho in his speech talked about lack of quality leadership in present day. DMCC president, Sentila delivered short speeches on different schemes launched by the BJP government and said that despite “Beti Bachao and Beti Padao” and various other schemes for women, girls were still not safe.
Earlier, the programme chaired by Johny Aier began with an invocation by Imkongmeren, secretary ACCC and welcome speech by I. Asang Jamir ACCC.
More than 300 people attended the meeting. Vote of thanks was presented by Avi, general secretary AYC and benediction by Alemla.
