The Dimapur District Football Association (DDFA) has announce open trials for the selection of the Dimapur District Football Team that will participate in the prestigious Dr. T. Ao 24th Inter-District Football Championship to be held in Kohima from August 1 to 15, 2025. A press release by DDFA general secretary Lanutoshi Yaden, stated that the selection trial will be conducted on July 5, 7:30 am at SAI ground, Nagarjan, Dimapur, while requesting interested and eligible players from within Dimapur district to report at the ground by 7:00 am sharp in proper playing gear for registration and briefing.
The release further stated that the trial is a great opportunity for aspiring footballers to showcase their talent and represent Dimapur at the state’s highest inter-district football competition.
