Dimapur District Pensioners’ Association (DDPA) during its annual general meeting held on April 28 at Town hall, Dimapur after thorough discussion had passed several resolutions in the interest of its members. The meeting was attended by around 400 delegates, said DPPA president, I. Meren Longchar and secretary, C. Daipao Krome in a press statement. Thawang Konyak retd IAS exhorted the pensioners while chief manager SBI T.A. Paul highlighted on the important guidance related to banking and facilities for the pensioners. The audit report was presented by DDPA secretary, C. Daipao Krome. The house after thorough discussion on the DDPA constitution had voted for the constitution for adoption with immediate effect.
Earlier, the meeting commence with an invocation prayer by senior pastor Chakhesang Baptist Church Dimapur, Rev. Dr. Weyiete Lohe, while the president DDPA, I. Meren Longchar welcomed the delegates.
