DDTA to host inter-school championships

DIMAPUR, OCT 11 (NPN)

The Dimapur District Taekwondo Association (DDTA) has announce the upcoming 6th Inter-School Kyorugi Championship and the 1st Inter-School Poomsae Championship, scheduled to be held on October 17 and 18, 2025, at the Multi-Disciplinary Sports Complex, located near DC Court Junction, Dimapur.
This two-day championship marks a significant milestone in the district’s taekwondo calendar, bringing together over 200 student-athletes from more than 20 schools across Dimapur. Participants will compete in kyorugi (sparring) and poomsae (forms) events, showcasing their skills, discipline, and sportsmanship. The event is part of DDTA’s ongoing efforts to foster the growth of taekwondo among school students, providing them with a platform to gain competitive experience and demonstrate their dedication to the martial art.
The association warmly invites parents, supporters, and taekwondo enthusiasts to attend and support the young athletes as they demonstrate their hard work and talent.
