DDTTA Table Tennis coaching camp concludes in Dimapur

DIMAPUR, JUL 17 (NPN): The week-long Table Tennis Coaching Camp organized by the Dimapur District Table Tennis Association (DDTTA) in collaboration with the All Nagaland Private Schools’ Association (ANPSA) Dimapur Unit concluded on Friday at Grace Academy, Paira Colony, Burma Camp.
Held from July 13 to 17, the camp saw enthusiastic participation from over 40 students representing 10 schools. The initiative aimed to encourage young learners to take up table tennis and provide them exposure under the guidance of experienced players and coaches.
The closing function was chaired by administrator of Grace Academy, Ketoulhou Sekhose, who urged students to continue their training and prepare for the upcoming ANPSA Dimapur Unit District Level Table Tennis and Sepaktakraw Competition, scheduled for August 28 and 29, 2026 at Grace Academy.
Earlier, president of DDTTA, Hekito, delivered the welcome speech, highlighting the benefits of table tennis and sharing his personal journey as a player to inspire the students.
Principal of Vidhya Bhawan Higher Secondary School, Vijay Shah, expressed gratitude to the association, parents, and Grace Academy for their support in making the camp a success. He also voiced hope for more collaborations with DDTTA in the future.
The programme concluded with a prayer by vice principal of Cornerstone Higher Secondary School, Chumrenthung Ezung.
