KROS College department of political science and history organised intra-departmental debate competition under the topic, “should ULB election be put into practice in Nagaland” on July 1.
The programme centred on the discussion of urban local bodies and how its origin had taken place since ancient times. The program was chaired by Teithuvi Zho from department of History. Huvili Kits and Bangang Phom emerged as the first and second debators respectively. Cash prize and certificates were awarded to the winners.
The judges for the competition were Chubatoshi Jamir, assistant professor History, Watichila Imchen, HoD of Sociology, Bonnie Lasuh, HoD of English.
Vote of thanks was delivered by Avelu Resuh, HoD History. The debate concluded that ULB election be put into practice in Nagaland.
