A declaration programme of Kikhazong Colony under Longya Ward Kiphire Town was held on January 22 with Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) and Kiphire Town Council (KTC) administrator, D. Robin as the special guest.
Addressing the gathering at the programme, Robin called for peace and unity among the residents of the colony for the development of the new colony. He also asked them to maintain good relationship with neighbouring colonies and wards.
Short speeches were also delivered by Longya Ward chairman, Yangtsali and Kiphire Town head GB, Throngseli. The programme was chaired by Kikhazong Colony secretary, K Supan Tikhir, welcome address by Kikhazong Colony chairman, C. Akamba Sangtam, short profile of the colony was delivered by Longya Ward general secretary, Asuthong K Tikhir, dedicatory prayer by KTBL Pastor Chopongkyu and vote of thanks by GB Tsayangkyu.
