Leader of opposition, TR Zeliang, has asked the leader of the house to take appropriate policy decision to declare Nagaland as an organic producing state. He said Nagaland had a lot of potential to become organic producing state with a constantly growing market.
Taking part in the budget debate on March 26, Zeliang also lauded PDA government for recognizing the efforts of Land Resources Development department in coffee plantation.
Zeliang also remarked that the attempt on the lives of Joy Chandra and Rekha Das in Dimapur had sent shock waves in the business capital of Nagaland, which he said, directly affected the ease of doing business in Nagaland. He reminded that it was the paramount duty of the state to protect the lives and liberty of the citizens.
