Decomposedbody of woman recovered in Thilixu

A highly decomposed body, suspected to be that of a non-Naga woman, was recovered from a rubber farm at Thilixu on Friday.
Police sources said the body, believed to be 6–7 days old, was found in an advanced stage of decomposition. Due to the condition of the remains, doctors were reportedly unable to conduct a post-mortem. However, the teeth of the deceased have been preserved for identification.
The body is said to be of a woman, approximately 4 feet 11 inches to 5 feet tall, and was found fully clothed. Further investigation is underway to determine the identity and cause of death.
