Newly formed “ELPIZO” worship band had their dedication prayer on July 15 at New Life Bible College, Dimapur with acting youth secretary WSBAK, K. Nifato Chishi, praying for “ELPIZO” music ministry.
The band consist of 12 members with director, Gospel Light Ministry, Dr. Mughai Achumi, as the worship leader. All members belong to the Sumi community.
The Christian ministry of team “ELPIZO” is to encourage and give “hope” in Christ and share the message of God’s love and salvation to all especially to the youths through songs of worship. The band had their first youth ministry on July 17 at Purana Bazar Sumi Baptist Church East Dimapur, and will be visiting various churches in the coming months.
The program was chaired by Aboli Wotsa, the invocation was said by lecturer NLBC, Hekali Sumi. A special song was presented by Nilokali Zhimo and Welto Kiho, while the benediction was pronounced by lecturer NLBC, T. Moishen.
