Delhi Public School Dimapur participates in postcard campaign

Commemorating 75 years of India’s Independence, the students of Delhi Public School (DPS) Dimapur from Classes IV to IX and XI participated in the “letter to prime minister”, a postcard writing campaign on the topics “unsung heroes of the freedom struggle” and “my vision for India in 2047” on December 10.

A press release from the school informed that the event began with addresses from the principal, B.K Nanda and postal assistant, office of the PMG North East region, Dimapur, L. Imtikumzuk. 

More than 500 students took part in the campaign.

It may be mentioned that the campaign is initiated by the department of posts, ministry of communications in collaboration with the department of school education and literacy, ministry of education as part of the ongoing celebrations of Azadi Ka Amrit Mohatsav.
