District level “Kala Ustav Competition, 2017” was held on Tuesday at Conference Hall, District Education Officer (DEO) office, Mon. The competition was organized by Rashtriya Madhyamik Shiksha Abhiyan (RMSA) district education mission society, Mon under the theme “ek bharat shreshtha bharat”. According to DIPR report, speaking on the occasion, SMO termed the day as a “great day” for RMSA to showcase the “uniqueness of our culture, traditions and festival”. SMO said “kala ustav” which means festival of arts, promotes the artistic beauty of our culture at high school and secondary level. Government Higher Secondary School (GHSS) Mon village, Government High School (GHS) Mon Town C, Government High School (GHS) Totok Chingnyu, Government Higher Secondary School (GHSS) Mon Town D and Government Higher Secondary School (GHSS) Mon participated in the competition.
