DEO office Dmu bids farewell to outgoing officer

Farewell programme for outgoing District Education Officer (DEO) Dimapur C Chenirao Humtsoe was held here, Thursday, at DEO office.
In his farewell speech, the outgoing DEO shared about his 35 years of service in the department and said that it had been a memorable journey. He also appreciated the office, cooperation among the staff and hoped that they would continue upholding the same spirit. Quoting from Ecclesiastes 3:1 & 7:8, Humtsoe said that although it was time for him to retire from service, it was the beginning of a new chapter. He mentioned that his humble beginning as a graduate teacher was a noble job and that later he became the first senior SDEO Dimapur as well as DEO, Dimapur from the Lotha community. Humtsoe further thanked God for His love and wished all a fruitful and successful life. Meanwhile, short speeches were delivered by ADEO Kisheli Shikhu, P/A, DMA-SS Solomon Ennio, senior SDEO, Dimapur Bendanglila, GHSS, Singrijan, Dimapur principal P Aienla Longkumer and HM, GHs, Moava Takukumba. The programme was chaired by Sentila, invocation prayer was proposed by Liya and special song was presented by Mughatoli Swu and Inato Wotsa.
