Public Service Aspirants of Nagaland (PSAN) expressed dismay that till date the state government has requisitioned only 45 posts for various departments through NPSC for 2019-20 examination. In a press note, PSAN said it was alarmed to note that over ten thousand aspirants would be forced to compete for just 45 posts.
In this regard, PSAN has reminded all departments to immediately requisition all vacant posts through the Nagaland Public Service Commission (NPSC).
Despite repeated pleas, PSAN alleged that random illegal backdoor appointments have been taking place in most of the departments.
NPSC being the highest recruiting body of the state, PSAN said the departments should not make a mockery out of it by not requisitioning available vacancies.
Meanwhile, PSAN has extended physical and moral support to the proposed sit-in protest by CTAN and CEAN on December 16, 2019 against illegal appointments made in NPWD.
PSAN demanded that the NPWD cancel all illegal appointments and advertise the said posts for free, fair and open recruitment.
Further, PSAN has called upon civil service aspirants to extend physical support to CTAN and CEAN during the protest.
