Staff quarter of District Economics and Statistics Office (DESO) Mokokchung was inaugurated at Marepkong ward Mokokchung on Wednesday. Director, Economics and Statistics Neidilhou Angami unveiled the plaque of the new building in the presence of directorate officials as well as district officials led by DESO.
In his brief speech, the director, said that the new building was a big asset of the department and that such magnitude of constructions did not happen regularly in the department. He further urged the officers and staff of the department to take utmost care of the building. Earlier, the dedicatory prayer for the building was offered by Mar, Pastor Marepkong Baptist Arogo. Later in the program, chaired by Kezhalelhou Solo, Deputy Director, EE PWD (H) Div-I presented the technical report.
