DG Assam Rifles reviews security measures in Nagaland

Lt. General Sukhdeep Sangwan, Director General Assam Rifles (DGAR) is on a visit to Nagaland, IGAR (N), from January 30 to February 1. 

According to PRO HQ IGAR (N), the DGAR was briefed on operational and administrative preparedness, and he expressed confidence in the security measures in place for ensuring a peaceful and secure environment in the state. 

Lt. General Sangwan also visited Wokha, Kiphire, Tuensang, Shamator and Zunheboto to review the security situations there and interacted with troops of Assam Rifles. 

He was accompanied by IGAR (North). The DG commended the troops of Assam Rifles for their devotion and dedication to duty and encouraged the officers and men to continue the good work and live up to the motto “Friends of the North East.”
