DGC bids farewell to Vice Principal

DIMAPUR: Dimapur Government College (DGC) accorded a farewell to its Dr. Meripeni Ngully, who retired on June 2 as vice principal.
Beginning her career with chalk and blackboards, Dr. Meripeni concluded her tenure amidst ICT-enabled classrooms and digital learning, leaving behind a legacy of professionalism, dedication and sincerity. Colleagues and students recalled her sharp wit, intelligence, meticulous work ethic and her gift of touching lives with care and commitment. The farewell programme was chaired by Dr. Ngutoli Swu, Department of History, and featured speeches from the principal, staff, colleagues, friends and students. The event concluded with a prayer of blessing by Dr. A. Sentiyula, Department of English.
DGC community described Dr. Meripeni’s retirement not as an end, but as the beginning of an enriching new chapter, while affirming that her legacy as an educator and nurturer will continue to inspire.
