DGC students organize traffic booth visit

Commerce department of Dimapur Government College, Dimapur organized a one-day extension activity, where students and faculty members visited key traffic booths and junctions as part of social responsibility initiatives on April 23.


In a press release, DGC informed that the visit saw the participation of students and seven faculty members, along with the collaboration of traffic personnel.


During the visit, the group covered approximately 20 traffic points and junctions, gaining valuable insights into the management of traffic flow and the challenges faced by authorities in maintaining road safety. This activity aimed to raise awareness about the importance of traffic regulations and encourage responsible behaviour among the public.


Commerce Department of Dimapur Government College appreciated the Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Traffic for granting permission and supporting the success of this important initiative. The Commerce Department also acknowledged the traffic personnel and officers for their cooperation and guidance during the visit.


This initiative aligns with the department’s commitment to promoting community engagement and social responsibility among students, fostering a sense of awareness and civic duty.
