Dimapur Gorkha Union (DGU) would be organising its 7th blood donation & awareness programme in association with All Assam Gorkha Students’ Union (AAGSU) and Gorkha Students’ Union Dimapur (GSUD) in commemoration of 72nd Martyr’s Day (Balidan Diwas) of 1st Gorkha martyr Shaheed maj. Durga Malla (INA) and in honour of Kargil martyr capt. N. Kenguruese (MVC) on August 25.
The blood donation camp would be held on August 25, 10 a.m at Sacred Heart School, 5th Mile, Dimapur with chairman NIDC Tovihoto Ayemi as chief guest and president AAGSU Prem Tamang as guest of honour.
Awareness and motivation drive would be held at Medziphema on August 20, Bamunpukhri, Lotovi, Toluvi, Padumbukhuri on August 21, Kirha Village, Darogapathar, Naharbari, 3rd Mile on August 22, and at Notung Bosti on August 23.
