Dharti Aaba Abhiyan campaign launched in Niuland

The Dharti Aaba Abhiyan “Awareness & Benefit Saturation” campaign for Niuland was launched at Suhoi Village Public Ground, Kuhuboto subdivision, on June 18.
Deputy Commissioner Niuland, Sara S Jamir, who graced the event as special guest, highlighted that the campaign aims to inform villagers about government beneficiary schemes and en-sure effective implementation at the grassroots level.
She urged residents to take advantage of the programme and spread awareness among neigh-boring villages, emphasizing that such initiatives bring opportunities directly to the people.
DC also stressed the importance of community participation, especially in showcasing locally made products, to help the society progress and stay competitive.
As part of the campaign, free health check-ups, sickle cell awareness, Aadhaar enrollment, and CMHIS/Ayushman Bharat registration were conducted.
Over 15 departments participated in the programme, which was targeted to benefit six villages under Kuhuboto Block.
