DHS Mon conducts review meeting

With a view to revise and update the health functionaries in the district, District Health Society (DHS) Mon conducted a review meeting with Block Programme Managers (BPMs), Asha coordinators and ANMs/GNMs on September 3 at the conference hall of the chief medical officer (CMO).

A press release from NHM, Mon district media officer Leeyan Chemshy informed that the meeting was reviewed by deputy CMO Dr. Rongsennungla, DPO (RCH&UIP) Dr Shasinle Tep, DPM Bonnie Konyak and other officers including DSO, Dr. Lolekhol Pucho and DTO Dr. Tinenlo James.

The meeting was based on PowerPoint (PPT) presentation of BPMs which covered the performance of every health unit in the district. The PPT covered topics on ANC, deliveries, full immunisation, complete immunisation, OPD attendance, family planning, reporting error, Covid vaccination, HBNC, birth and death report. 

Dr. Tinenlo informed that there were very less cases referred to the DMC and noted that referring a TB suspected cases would be rewarded an incentives if the case turned out to be positive.

Dr. Tinenlo informed that the centre had planned to eliminate TB from India and that was why various strategic approach was initiated.

Meanwhile, Dr. Shasinle highlighted on COVID vaccination, routine immunisation (RI), RI micro plan, immunisation chart and MCP card. 

Meanwhile, Dr. Lolekhol Pucho informed that a target was set for all health units to get people tested for Covid. He understood that people still had stigma and fear to come forward for the testing but as health care providers, he advised them to do their best to help people understand. 

Earlier, quality assurance DPM Moba briefed on the reporting format of Non-Communicable Disease (NCD).
