DHS Phek holds quarterly review meet

Phek District Health Society (DHS) has conducted quarterly review meeting for SMOs, MOs, BPMs and health workers on February 11 at the Chief Medical Officer’s conference hall.
During the meeting, district quarterly performance status under different programmes were reviewed and presented through power point presentation by the Deputy CMO Dr. Ritu Thurr. The house decided that regularity and timely submission of reports of all the programmes should be maintained by all the medical officers and health workers.
Poor performance and reporting by health units were also highlighted and instructed to submit the reports at the earliest.
Latest revision of incentives under JSY and JSSK (Maternal & Neo- natal benefit scheme) were highlighted by Dr. Ritu Thurr. Medical officers were briefed and instructed for proper utilization of the ambulances.
Power point presentation on Revised National Control Tuberculosis Program (RNCTP) & National Vector Borne Disease Control Program (NVBDCP) were also presented by the District Tuberculosis Officer and District Programme Officer respectively.
Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Phek, Dr. K Vikato Kinimi, also encouraged the medical officers to give more efforts in their work and also briefed that timely submission of reports and regularity in their posting place plays an important role in improving the district performances.
The programme was chaired by CMO who also welcomed the medical officers and health workers. Altogether 23 participants attended the meeting comprised of senior medical officers, medical officers and block program managers.
