District Health Society (DHS) Tuensang, on September 19, launched the second round of “National De-worming Day (NDD)” at Government Middle School (GMS) Wongtsuwong, Tuensang Town.
In a press release, NHM Tuensang, DMO Apheang stated that the during the launching programme, MO, RBSK, Dr. Tekawapangla presented an overview of the programme.
She also sensitised the students on physical hygiene.
Later, handwashing steps were demonstrated by ANM, RBSK, Yimsutola.
At the launching programme, the team conducted free health screening where around 130 students were screened and Tab Albendazole were distributed to the students.
The team was led by Dr. Tekawapangla, who was assisted by coordinator SHP GNM (RBSK), ANM (RBSK) and BPM sadar block.
