DIMAPUR: Dimapur Bengali Samaj (DBS) has extended greetings and warm wishes to all Sanatani brothers and sisters on the auspicious occasions of Maa Durga Puja, Navaratri, Vijayadashami (Dussehra) and the festival of lights, Deepawali.
In his message, DBS president, K.K. Paul, prayed that the divine blessings of Maa Durga fill every heart with strength, courage, peace and prosperity. He expressed hope that the sacred days of Navaratri would inspire devotion, faith and positive energy, while the celebration of Vijayadashami would remind all that truth always triumphs over falsehood and good ultimately prevails over evil. He further wished that the radiant lights of Deepawali dispel darkness, remove negativity and illuminate lives with happiness, harmony, success and new hope.
The president noted that these sacred festivals are a celebration of rich Sanatani traditions, spiritual values and cultural heritage. He called upon all to come together to strengthen the bonds of unity, brotherhood, mutual respect and communal harmony.
He urged that the spirit of these festivals inspire people to rise above differences of caste, creed, language and community, and work collectively for the peace, progress and prosperity of Dimapur and the nation.
He prayed that Maa Durga bless every family with good health, happiness and abundance, and that the divine light of Deepawali bring peace to every home, prosperity to every household and hope to every heart.
