District administration team led by Deputy Commissioner (DC) Dimapur, Sushil Kumar Patel on Wednesday visited Aghunaqa on November 29 and interacted with the representatives of BPCC, Aghunaqa GBs Union, KAK Union, DBs and the people of the nearby villages. According to DPRO Dimapur, during interaction, few concerns of the recent issues were raised and discussed, wherein the district administration assured to take appropriate step to improve relation with neighbouring district of Assam. Sushil Kumar appealed to the people to maintain peace and tranquillity in the region. The team includes ADC Niuland, V. Lovitoly Sema; border magistrate, Kikato Chishi; SP (border), R. Mero; ACP Niuland, Vishal; and deputy director Border Affairs, P. Yikishe Zimo. The team also visited polling stations of village Kiyazu ‘A’, Kiyazu ‘B’ and model polling station at Niuland town.
