Dimapur District Lotha GB Union commemorates ‘20th Rising Day’

Dimapur: The Dimapur District Lotha Gaon Bura Union (DDLGBU) celebrated its 20th Rising Day with enthusiasm and participation from members, community leaders, and well-wishers, marking two decades of service to society.
Chief guest G.K. Rengma congratulated DDLGBU on the milestone and commended its contribution to society. He acknowledged the role of Gaon Buras in grassroots administration, dispute resolution, and community development, and urged members to continue serving with dedication and unity.
Speaking on the occasion, chairman of Lotha Hoho Dimapur, Thungchaithung Murry, and Dr. Polaud Lotha congratulated the union on completing 20 years of service.
They highlighted the important role of Gaon Buras in promoting peace, unity, social harmony, and preserving community values and traditions.
The speakers encouraged members to continue working for the welfare and progress of society while upholding the rich cultural heritage of the Lotha community.
A minute of silence was observed in memory of departed GBs in recognition of their service and contributions to the community. DDLGBU Vice President Nyimbemo Mozhü delivered the vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to all dignitaries and participants. The programme concluded with a benediction by Shri Eramo Phyobhio Odyuo, GB, followed by fellowship and a community luncheon.
Earlier, the programme was chaired by general secretary, DDLGBU Yanbothung Kikon and invocation by , senior pastor, Dimapur Lotha Baptist Church (DLBC), Rev. Dr. Yanbemo Lotha.
The welcome address was delivered by treasurer, DDLGBU, Nyimpomo Ngullie. Vote of thanks by vice president, DDLGBU Nyimbemo Mozhü. The programme concluded with a benediction by GB, EramoPhyobhio Odyuo, followed by fellowship and a community luncheon.
