Monthly district planning and development board (DPDB) meeting of Dimapur district for the month of December was held on December 5, in the conference hall of DC Dimapur.
According to DIPR report, deputy commissioner Dimapur, Sushil Kumar Patel who is also the vice chairman of Dimapur DPDB presided over the meeting. In the meeting the board members decided to forward the names of the following societies to the government, as all their documents were found to be in proper order: Inspire Foundation, North East Artist Network, Vivekananda Welfare Foundation Kalibari Road Dimapur, Surumi Welfare Society, K.Creative Society, Change of nomenclature from Fire Around the World to AKUPP Ministry.
Grant in aid to El-Shaddai Foundation Children Home Seitheke Basa, Dimapur was also discussed and forwarded to the School Education department for consideration. Members also discussed with regard to drinking water supply at Chumukedima town where the PHE department also supplemented with the feasibility of the project.
In the meeting following schools were also recommended to the concern department for upgradation, GHS Burma Camp to GHSS, Westside School Dhansiripar to High School, Stepping Stone School Duncan Dimapur, Hope Academy School Seitheke Basa, Naga United Village Dimapur.
