Dimapur excise narcotic cell (NC) enforcement duty party on Friday arrested one Manoj on charges of possessing Indian-made foreign liquor (IMFL) and beer.
According to deputy commissioner of excise (NC), Katoho Sumi, the duty party around 6:40 am seized 1710 bottles of assorted IMFL and beer from the possession of the accused. Katoho informed that the seized items were deposited in the office Malkhana and the case is presently under investigation as per relevant provisions of the NLTP Act, 1989.
The duty party was led by AIE Chuba Yim.
