Dimapur girl wins INTACH regional trophy

Dimapur girl, Abhisikta Chakraborty (class VII) of Holy Cross Higher Secondary School has won the regional winner’s trophy of the Indian National Trust for Art and Cultural Heritage (INTACH) on August 31.

The nationwide painting and essay competition was held in April 2021 on the theme, “nature in danger”.
In a press release, INTACH Nagaland Chapter informed that Abhisikta’s entry titled “promoting a traditional green practice” was judged one of the regional winners from over 5000 nationwide entries.
INTACH Nagaland Chapter state convener Sentila T. Yanger and co-convener Mefutiba presented the trophy to principal of the school, father Phillip.
