Dimapur hosts 5th Mega Art Festival and Art Exhibition

The 5th Mega Art Festival & Art Exhibition, organized by the contemporary foundation for Art & Craft (CFAC), New Delhi, in collaboration with the Inner Wheel Club of Dimapur, Chitrakala School of Fine Arts, and RAC Academy, was held at Pranab Vidyapith Higher Secondary School, Dimapur.
The event featured Chandu Agarwal as the chief guest and Swami Chinmayananda as the guest of honor. Under the able guidance of project chairperson Dr. Khushboo Agarwal, the festival brought together a vibrant celebration of art, creativity, and youthful imagination. More than 500 students participated in the festival, competing across eight groups. A total of 184 prizes, 23 in each group were awarded in recognition of exceptional artistic talent and creativity displayed by the young participants.
The festival drew support and inspiration from guests including Dr. Neena Dutta, Dr. Sunil Sharma, Falguni Sharma, Tiakhala, Seema Bhowal, Pritam Ghosh, Pankaj Modi, and Ravi Poddar, along with judges Rupam Barua (Tripura) and Hemanta Sahu (Hojai).
The celebration was also attended by principals of various schools, presidents of local organizations, parents, and art enthusiasts who gathered to encourage the budding artists and appreciate their creative expressions.
