Dimapur Meetei Council donates relief materials to fire victims

Dimapur Meetei Council (DMC) donated relief materials to fire victims of Ura village, Dimapur on December 29.

A press release by DMC information and publicity secretary, Prem Singh stated that the relief materials included blankets, crockery and food items. 

The relief was handed over in the presence of Katila, convener of the Fire Affected Area. 

A brief program was held highlighting the motto of council by Sarat Thangjam, president of DMC, who expressed gratitude to all the NGOs, civil societies and well wishers for their contributions and assistance towards the noble cause.  

The program was chaired with an invocation prayer by Oken Khuman, vice president of DMC. Meratombi distributed the relief items. Vote of thanks was pronounced jointly by Amarjit Singh, finance secretary and Sanjit Khuman, joint secretary of DMC.
