Dimapur Moilan Union Fellowship celebrates 25th anniversary

The Dimapur Moilan Union Fellowship (DMUF) commemorated its 25th anniversary with a silver jubilee thanksgiving celebration at KLOK Sector Church, Dimapur, Tuesday. The event brought together members, church leaders and well-wishers in a spirit of gratitude, unity and spiritual renewal.
Held under the theme “Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!” (Philippians 4:4), the programme reflected the fellowship’s journey of faith and perseverance over the past quarter century.
Delivering the main message, Moilan Baptist Church pastor Rev. Ruphamo Kikon emphasized steadfast faith, communal harmony and rejoicing in all circumstances, while encouraging the congregation to remain rooted in spiritual values and strengthen fellowship bonds.
A solemn moment was observed with a one-minute silence in remembrance of departed members, honouring their contributions and legacy. Invocation was offered by New Ralan Baptist Church pastor Thungjanbemo Ovung, while DMME chairperson Robeni Humtsoe delivered the welcome address, highlighting the significance of the milestone and acknowledging contributions of past and present members.
Thungdemo Ovung shared the history and inception of DMUF, recounting its humble beginnings and growth into a strong faith-based community. Greetings were also extended by Dimapur Moilan Union chairman N. Athungo Ovung, who lauded the fellowship’s role in fostering unity and spiritual development.
