Dimapur police bans unauthorized assembly

Dimapur police has banned all unauthorized assembly and processions on public roads or in public streets or thorough fares in Dimapur district with immediate effect.

DCP & PRO Dimapur police, in a communiqué said that only those with permit/licence from the of-fice of the commissioner of police will be allowed but warned that violation of the order will be deemed “unlawful assembly”.

PRO said that interested parties have been directed to obtain permit/licence from the CPs’ office.
