Dimapur police has informed that a dead body of an unidentified male (37-40 years approx.) was found lying outside Ram Thakur Mandir, Netaji Colony, Dimapur on July 14.
In a press release, PRO Dimapur police informed that on completion of all legal formalities the dead body was shifted to Dimapur District Hospital (DDH) morgue for postmortem examination/identification.
In a separate statement, PRO Dimapur informed that an unidentified non-Naga male (60 years approx.) died on July 16, while undergoing medical treatment at DDH. PRO said the unidentified man was produced in an unconscious state on July 8 by personnel of East Police Station Dimapur and was admitted at DDH male ward. On completion of all legal formalities, PRO said the dead body was shifted to DDH morgue for postmortem examination/identification.
Further, PRO has asked the claimant/relatives/friends of the deceased persons to contact officer-in-charge, East Police Station Dimapur at 7085055020.
