After receiving a telephonic information from Station Manager (OPTG) at Govt. Railway Police Station Dimapur on March 21 at around 7:30 am, the duty party of the Dimapur police rushed to the spot and found one unidentified male dead body (non-local) aged around 45-50 yrs (approx.) lying dead below bridge No.265 suspected to be knocked down by a running train.
According to PRO Dimapur Police, the body was found under the bridge No.258/1-2 between Dimapur to RxR at km 261/8-9 K/Khati side. On completion of all legal formalities the dead body was shifted to District Hospital Morgue for PM examination and identification.
The deceased was wearing black half pant, Blue open sweater and dark grey T-shirt.
