Dimapur Police recovers unidentified body

DIMAPUR:

Dimapur Police on March 5 recovered a dead body of an unidentified non local, aged around 50 to 55 years (approx), at Rail gate, below Flyover Bridge.
According to DCP (Crime) & PRO, after receiving a telephonic information from station master of Dimapur Railway Station, GRPS duty party rushed to the place of occurrence and recovered the dead body.
After inquest conducted over the dead body, it was ascertained that the cause of death was suspected due to illness and starvation. On completion of all legal formalities, the deceased body was shifted to District Hospital Dimapur Morgue for PM examination/identification.
Police has identified the deceased to be wearing blue shirt and Black pant, and has informed claimant/ relatives/ friends of the deceased to contact the Officer-in-Charge, GRPS, Dimapur, on mobile number.7085055021.
