The deputy commissioner (DC) Dimapur Anoop Khinchi in a letter to the president Nagaland Private Doctors Association, requested all private hospitals under Dimapur district to seek approval from the government for setting up TrueNat testing machines in their respective hospitals. In order to ensure safety of all and as precautionary measures, patients coming to private hospitals for treatment can be screened, an official said.
Flu clinics: The DC also requested all private hospitals to continue running flu clinic 24×7 to ensure that cases of influenza like symptoms were not left unattended and that flu-corner OPD services remain available to the public.
