Dimapur residents assaulted in Kaziranga resort

A mob comprising of around 20 to 25 people in Irora resort, Kaziranga assaulted four residents of Dimapur belonging the Jain community on January 2 last.
According to a press release, one of the victims claimed that the four were assaulted in front of the family members. He claimed that the four along with family members went to the resort and ordered vegetarian food but the restaurant served them chicken sizzler.  When the visitors objected, the staff began misbehaving with them. When the general manager was called, the group cam an assaulted them, claimed the press release. The press release also said that the manager also apologized for the incident.
