Directorate of Information & Public Relations (DIPR) officers and staff held an interactive session at the officers’ conference hall.
According to DIPR report, the officials were briefed on the recent tours to Itanagar and New Delhi where representatives from the department had gone to attend a film festival at Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh and training on public relations at New Delhi.
Four members team was led by assistant director, Tialemba to north east documentary & film festival held at Itanagar, Arunachal from February 17- 20.
In his brief report Tialemba, who had led the Nagaland team with three film makers, said that Kivini Shohe from Nagaland was judged the winner in the best documentary film category for her film “My Soul”.
He said the best director in the “short film” category was awarded to Sophy and Sesino for their film “Story of my House”. Tialemba also thanked the department for giving them the opportunity to represent the state further stating that it was an enriching and a rewarding experience.
Joint director, Tokishe Sema who recently attended the National Workshop on Public Relations in New Delhi from February 24- 26 organized by the Government of Maharashtra, shared his experiences of the workshop.
He also appraised the gathering on all the subject matters imparted in the training with special emphasis on modern technologies that many other States in the country are already implementing.
Sema also shared his thoughts on introducing new advanced methods for the department to forge ahead.
Director IPR, Pausui Zeliang gave the concluding remarks while additional director, Limawati Ao chaired the programme.
