Disaster response training held in Mokokchung

A combined team of officers, NGO, NCOs and SDRF personnel from the district establishment of district commandant, Home Guards, Civil Defence & SRDF Mokokchung imparted “Refresher Course” to DEF Mokokchung personnel under the establishment of the superintendent of Police Mokokchung at New Reserve Mokokchung.
According to a DIPR report, the training included lecture, demonstration and practical (L/D/P) classes on various subjects of civil Defence and Disaster Response such as Basic life Support (BLS) Patient Assessment, Adult CPR & Adult FBAO, Basic First Aid- Bleeding control, Shock Treatment, Bandaging, Fractures & Splinting, Emergency Method of Rescue (EMR)- Lifting and Moving of Patients, various types of knotting using ropes and Stretcher Drill etc. The training was imparted to five different batches from April 28-June 25 to the police personnel under the establishment of the Superintendent of police, Mokokchung.
