In line with the rest of the country in the observation of DISHA week from June 25 to 29, the District Development Coordination and Monitoring Committee (DISHA) meeting was held on June 28 at the deputy commissioner’s conference hall chaired by deputy commissioner Kohima, Rajesh Soundararajan (who is also the DISHA member secretary), co-chaired by project director DRDA, Alemla J Chishi.
A press release from DISHA stated that in his opening remark, the DC welcomed the members present and highlighted the state level DISHA meeting held on June 25. He spoke about the 41 Centrally Sponsored Schemes (CSS) implemented in the district.
In the concluding remark, the deputy commissioner thanked the members present for making it convenient to attend the meeting and requested all the members to be more sincere and dedicated towards the implementation of all the flagship programs in the district.
Various departments including DRDA, Medical, Education, Agriculture, PWD (R&B), I&FC, F&CS, Power, Urban Development, S&WC, Social Welfare highlighted their activities and presented the physical and financial achievement reports for the financial year 2017-18 and 2018-19.
