Under inclusive education for disabled (IED), assessment camp Tuensang for children with special needs (CWSN), 156 children were provided with aids and appliances on August 18 at EBRC Hakushang, Tuensang.
Deputy District Education Officer (DDEO), Tuensang I.Sashi Ao presented the appliances to the children.
He encouraged the children to feel at par with other normal children.
Short speech was delivered by DEO Tuensang, JEO R.L.Sangtam and DMA, SSA Tuensang project assistant Akumshang. Objectives and goals of IED programme for CWSN, functions of SSA were shared by the speakers.
Earlier, the programme was chaired by Project Assistant (IED in-charge), DMA, SSA Achila Sangtam.
