Free distribution of Long Lasting Insecticide Nets (LLINS) under NVBDCP programme by department of Health and Family Welfare was officially launched in Mangkolemba and Old Ministers’ Hill Kohima (OMHK) ward -14.
SMO, CHC, Mangkolemba, Dr. Akum Jamir launched the programme on March 5 for all the villages and towns under Mangkolemba sub division. Besides administration officials, members of Mangkolemba Town Baptist Church and Adhoc Town Committee also attended the distribution programme.
OMHK: District vector borne officer Kohima (DVBO) Dr. Bendangsenla Ao highlighted on do’s and don’ts of LLINS and the government programme in controlling mosquito borne diseases during the launching programme of LLINS at OMHK ward-14. The programme was chaired by the colony chairman. DVBO officials, GB, NGO, ASHA and colony leaders attended the programme.
