Rotary International District 3240 Governor Dr. Debashish Das, visited Rotary Club of Dimapur (RCD) accompanied by Dr. Charis and Asst. Governor, Sanjay Jain and inspected the activities taken up the club.
A press release from Rotary Club, Dimapur, stated that in the day long function, the governor laid the foundation stone for adopting the Government Primary School Eralibill, Dimapur to convert it into a happy school providing better amenities such as toilet block, safe drinking water, sports equipments etc.
Das also dedicated Rotary Multi Service centre at Tragopan junction constructed by Rotary Club, Dimapur, which provides facilities such as drinking water, washroom and restroom.
The governor also inaugurated the safe drinking water point at Midland Colony, Dimapur built by the club for the residents.
After series of meetings and being briefed of the various activities that the club had been doing with assessment of community needs, he applauded the Rotary Club members for executing various projects for the people of Dimapur.
