District IEC/BCC activity on reproductive and sexual health for adolescent (ARSH) was conducted on March 31 at Akuluto town, Zunheboto district.
In the programme, district media officer, Zunheboto, Shekho Sophie highlighted on the importance of adolescent activity and encouraged the youth to do away with unwanted elements. He also motivated the participants to live a healthy and examplenary life.
He further urged the youth to avail the services provided at the ARSH clinics at district hospital and CHC’s.
The programme was initiated by district health society and ARSH enacted a play on the topic “HIV/AIDS”. The play was also performed by youth of NCRC Youth Akuluto town.
During the programme documentary on ARSH was shown while free IEC materials and bookmark were distributed. Altogether six church youth members enacted the play during the programme.
Earlier, the programme chaired by Vinivi, began with an invocation by youth director (ATBC), Khesheto.
