District-level meeting on DA-JGUA in Tsg

A district-level meeting on the implementation of Dharti Aaba Janjatiya Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan (DA-JGUA) under the Ministry of Tribal Affairs was held at the DC’s Conference Hall, Tuensang with various government departments in attendance on June 10.
According to DIPR report, ADC Tuensang, Shelley Katiry, highlighted the importance of DA-JGUA in promoting inclusive development in tribal-dominated villages. He explained that the initiative aims to enhance infrastructure and services in tribal areas through targeted interventions.
Katiry also announced the launch of a special campaign, “Dharti Aaba Abhiyan – Awareness and Benefit Saturated Camp”, scheduled from June 15 to 30, 2025. The campaign will focus on providing individual entitlements at the grassroots level while raising awareness about DA-JGUA and various government welfare schemes.
The initiative covers key programs such as Ayushman Bharat, Aadhaar Camp, Kisan Credit Card (KCC), MGNREGA, PMAY Housing, and several other social welfare schemes, ensuring benefits reach those in need. The meeting reaffirmed the commitment of local authorities to support the initiative and facilitate its effective implementation.
