District-level review meeting on PM POSHAN in Meluri

MELURI: A district-level review meeting on the implementation of PM POSHAN (Pradhan Mantri Poshan Shakti Nirman) and Samagra Shiksha was held on July 15 at the Office Chamber of the Deputy Commissioner, Meluri, under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Phuleshe K. Yepthomi.
According to a DIPR report, during the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner reviewed the status of the schemes with the concerned nodal departments, including School Education, Social Welfare, and Health.
He interacted with officers to seek updates on progress, achievements, challenges, and gaps in execution at the district level.
Emphasizing effective service delivery, Yepthomi appealed to all departments to strengthen inter-departmental coordination and ensure proper convergence in implementing government welfare schemes. He urged departments to acknowledge and actively support one another so that the benefits of flagship programmes reach every eligible beneficiary in the district.
The meeting also deliberated on measures to improve monitoring, ensure timely implementation, and enhance coordination among line departments for the successful execution of PM POSHAN and Samagra Shiksha initiatives in Meluri district.
The meeting was attended by the District Planning Officer, Child Development Project Officer, Senior Medical Officer, Range Forest Officer, Sub-Divisional Education Officer, Assistant Manager of SBI Meluri and other concerned officials.
