District level science seminar was conducted at Government Higher Secondary School (GHHS) Wokha on the topic “harnessing light” – ‘possibilities and challenges’ on Monday.
Deputy District Education Officer (DDEO) Sentinenla elaborated on the importance and possibilities of the topic, while urging the students to be sincere and hardworking.
Altogether 20 participants from various schools attended, where Kamalika Das of Libemo Memorial School and Thungdeno Humtsoe of Springdale School, both class 10 students were adjudged first and second positions respectively. The winners will represent Wokha district at the state level science seminar to be held at Kohima on September 23.
