DIMAPUR: The District Level Youth Festival 2026 for Kohima District will be held on September 11, 2026, providing young people a platform to showcase their talents and creativity while promoting youth participation and self-reliance.
According to DIPR, events will include Declamation, a solo competition on the theme “Youth, Skills and a Self Reliant Nagaland,” along with group competitions in Folk Song and Folk Dance. Schools, colleges, youth clubs and interested youth in Kohima District have been invited to participate. Eligible participants must be aged between 15 and 29.
The festival will identify and nurture young talent and select the best individuals and teams to represent Kohima at the State Level Youth Festival 2026, scheduled for September 29 at IG Stadium.
